Ruth Rollason
Visual Artist
Ruth Rollason worked as a successful London graphic designer for nearly three decades before transitioning to fine art, completing her MFA at UCA Canterbury with Distinction. Working from her Ramsgate studio, she explores the visual language of text, deliberately disrupting letterforms to create new compositions that exist in the space between reading and seeing. Her work is painterly, installational, and sculptural.
She has exhibited at Turner Contemporary, Laurent Delaye Gallery, Linden Hall Studio, Ramsgate Festival of Sound, and the Whitstable Biennale, among others. Her work is held in private collections internationally.
